Ergonomic Chair - Page 3

Having a good ergonomic chair can help prevent Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is caused by the tendons in your arm rubbing together in a way they are not supposed to. Typing is the unnatural activity that causes this syndrome to occur in people. At any rate, many experts agree that having the correct proportion of height between elbows and the keyboard is important. The arms should be relaxed and hanging in a natural position, but not slouched over. The forearms should be parallel to the floor and the wrists should be in a neutral position. A good ergonomic chair will help this position by making sure you have the proper height and distance ratios.
